In November, my daughter gave birth to Jasmine Jeanne. I may be just a bit biased but I think she's cute as a button.
in this picture she's 7 weeks old (already!!) dang, time flies

Poor Blog
My poor blog is feeling neglected, between work and swaps and chatting on Rav, haven't had/taken the time to post on it.
Did another "first" recently and crocheted a bookmark for a swap. most of the stuff I do can be found on my flicker page
I am also in the first stages of starting a group for donations to the local area hospitals and nursing homes here. So with sending to SIBOL and Share A Square and this one when I get it off the ground, I'll def have lotts of places to put my squares to good use!!
More to come about this one as it happens.

Raverly world
Isn't life amazing? get a computer and you can be anywhere in the world in a matter of minutes! I have "discovered" the world of Raverly, so much fun there and so many new people to meet.
I think I have become a swap-a-holic!! but it is letting me have a reason to crochet more in new fields, made my first dish cloth, and my first pot-holder this month. which, of course, means more patterns to find and print -- hubby thinks I've gone pattern crazy because every time he turns around I'm printing more patterns, he actually asked "how many patterns do you need?" Why, all of them of course!!!!
I'm so super happy that Mrs Twins and Sibol have joined the world of Raverly too.

the square makeover
Ok, well seems like I decreased the size of the wrong square, . I did this one, http://www.kaleidesigns.com/crochet/patterns/archive/squa004.html instead of this one http://web.archive.org/web/20010816061829/members.aol.com/lffunt/circlefriends.htm so I removed the other post for now and when the vote is in on which we will do I will either repost the other one or delete it... stay tuned for more news!

squares for Share A Square
Hello
this is to basically answer any questions about the sending of squares from Sibol to Share a Square.
Anyone wanting to participate can send their square directly to Shelly at Share a Square, her address is posted on the faq page http://thiseclecticlife.com/. or they can be sent to me and I will forward them.
e-mail me for my address.
Squares should be tagged with your name and country and perhaps a small quote ie "made with love" and add that it is from the Sibol Group in the UK. the tags should be no bigger then the standard business card size.
This is not in any way ment to take any time or effort away from what we send to SIBOL. My original e-mail to Mrs Twins was to simply get the word out some more as Shelly is still needing 8000 squares (last time I looked at the site). and I figured any little bit would help
Thanks
Brenda

Hubby says I'm spoiled
Hubby says I'm spoiled, maybe that's because he sees me looking at patterns online and looking at yarn and what-nots so he takes me to wal-mart a few weeks ago and bought me a ton of yarn, then a few days later bought 2 storage containers to hold it all and THEN yesterday he took me to Jo-Ann's and bought me MORE yarn and 3 more storage containers (pic's of all this on my flicker page http://www.flickr.com/photos/55195878@N07/) ooOO well he also bought me the camera that I took the pic's with cuz I was whining about how the camera on my phone doesn't take such good pic's -- the camera is a week early for our anniversary present -- but the rest is cuz he's right, I'm spoiled!!
